Askøy municipality ́s contract for Data communication and internet access expires 30/6-25. Before we start up the procurement project, we would like updated information from the supplier market on the current and future possibilities so that we can design the best possible requirement and needs description. Individual dialogue meetings are thus invited. Information that Askøy municipality currently has one tenderer on IPVPN and the Internet. We have fibre for all of our locations that are spread out over the entire municipality of Askøy. The current system consists of 10 separate networks in one IPVPN, as well as two internet accesses and one DMZ network that is centrally routed in. We currently have overcapacity in many of our fibre locations. Askøy municipality is also looking at systems that SD access and the tenderer's system must take this into account. Distribution today in IPVPN: IPVPN 300Mbit: 25 IPVPN 500Mbits: 15 IPVPN 1000Mbits: 2 Dark fibre 2km: 6, divided between 3 locations IP VPN access to core routes: 2x 10Gbit redundant Internet accesses: Number of internet accesses: 2, 1Gbit and 5Gbit Number of IP segments to be routed: 3, 2 internet (/30) and 1 DMZ (/26) The tenderer ́s presentation the tenderer would like to hold a technical review of potential systems that can cover the current and future needs of Askøy municipality. This is mainly IPVPN and SD-WAN, but we are also open other systems such as 5G. Tenderers are encouraged to present their products in relevant systems. Security around the solutions should also be included in the presentation. Practical information We aim at holding dialogue meetings Monday 9/9 and Wednesday 11/9-24. Approx. 2 hours will be put aside per supplier. Tenderers can register their interest in participation in the dialogue meeting as soon as possible and at the latest by 2/9-24. Please state whether a physical or digital meeting is wanted and state the email address for the meeting request. Registration and any questions are to be sent in the communication module in Mercell.
