Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) aims to qualify applicants for its Qualification System for Business Support Services, which are divided into four categories. These categories encompass the essential capabilities required in GNI's Business Services. 1.Business and Data Management Capabilities: This category ensures that GNI can access service providers for delivering services related to business requirements such as data management, data governance, data security, business intelligence (BI), SAP BusinessObjects (BO), and SharePoint/Enterprise Content Management (ECM). It also includes change management services like business readiness, project management, process analysis, and business continuity, while future-proofing key business needs that may arise during the Qualification System's lifetime. 2.IT Project and Portfolio Management Services, Strategy, and Architecture Capabilities: This category ensures that GNI can access service providers for delivering services related to IT skillset requirements that may arise during the Qualification System's lifetime. These services include, but are not limited to, project management, program management, portfolio management, business analysis, project support roles, IT architecture roles (enterprise and solution architects), and strategy services. 3.OT/IT Support Capabilities: This category covers the delivery of infrastructure services and resources, including Windows and Linux management, virtualisation management, security, networking, and database management. It also includes IT infrastructure, OT SCADA infrastructure, telephony and telecommunications, service desk capability, and cloud technologies. 4.AI, Application Specialists, Designers, Developers, and Test Capabilities: This category covers the scope of applications, which typically include, but are not limited to, IBM Maximo, Zenith Fingertip, Click Scheduler, MS Dynamics CRM, GE Smallworld, Oracle eBusiness Suite, Oracle Hyperion, Oracle SOA, Oracle Integration Cloud, and ServiceNow. The scope for developers typically includes Java, Python, PL/SQL, .NET, Progress OpenEdge, and web frameworks. The scope for software testers includes functional, technical, security, data, and general-purpose testers. The Qualification System is designed to support GNI's strategic objectives by providing a structured and efficient process for selecting and managing service providers, ultimately contributing to the organisation's overall success and growth.
