Larvik municipality shall procure assistance for the development of a new access road and ground works for the new treatment facility In Kvelde, located approx. 200 m into Svartangveien (county road 3046), from Lågendalsveien (county road 40). The access road is designed to be approx. 380 metres long with a rise to the site of the new treatment facility. There are challenges with ground conditions in the area, so parts of the access road, approx. 2,100 m2, must be limed stabilised. Conduits shall be laid for cables from an already reduced network station located west of the access road to the area, conduits also from barriers, and to light masts along the access road to the treatment facility. Parts of the access road have been cleared of forest, some forest remains. The site of the treatment facility has an area of 14,710 m2, it shall be secured in excess of the building pit treatment facility with fixed installations.
