Vegagerðin, (e. The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration (IRCA)), intends to make a contract with Sleggjan, MB Unimog's agent in Iceland for a 4x4 Truck with wheelbase. The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration (IRCA), want to buy a 4x4 Truck with wheelbase about 3900 mm +/- 5% Requirements: • 4x4 Truck with wheelbase about 3900 mm ( +/- 5%) with 3way tipper with space between tipper and cap for hydraulic crane. • 1 passenger seat, steering wheel movable between left and right. • Hydraulic connections for snow plow, sweeper and grass cutter (Schmidt or compatible). • PTO for snow cutter in front. • Hydrostatic drive and with crawl gear. • Tires, 385/65, rims 17,5”* 22,5”. • Engine at least 200 kw ( 268 hp). • Truck has to be new and seller has to be certified to sell and service the vehicle locally, (in Iceland). A RFI no. 23040 - 4x4 Truck with wheelbase has been made for this procurement, which was advertised on 26th July 2024. Only one company answered the RFI, that is Sleggjan. Based on the RFI and more market research the buyer estimates that only MB Unimog, fulfills the requirements. Based on the abovementioned the buyer will enter into an agreement with Sleggjan. Estimated value of the contract is 45.000.000 ISK w/o VAT.
