Tender Description This tender and subsequent contract is divided into two work packages. Work package 1 is concerned with the capacity development for the Just Transition of stakeholders in the TVET System. As part of the support to DHET to provide capacity development measures for integrating South Africa"s Just Transition framework into the country"s TVET and employment promotion agenda, CPD4E seeks to strengthen the capacities of key public, civil society and private sector skills development and employment promotion actors. The main partner to the project in work package 1 is the Technical and Vocational Education and Training branch in the DHET with the 50 public TVET Colleges. However, given work around skills anticipation and employment creation it is foreseen that the Planning branch and the Skills branch of the DHET will be additional partners to work with. ? Work package 2 of the programme is concerned with the development and implementation of new learning programmes for the public TVET sector in South Africa. The contractor will contribute to output indicator 3.1 and 3.2 through the new programmes developed within this programme. A full description of the contractor"s responsibilities against the results matrix is set out hereunder. This work package aims to develop and support public TVET colleges to implement new and emerging qualifications. This will be the entire process starting from the development of job profiles through to implementation at college level. In total we wish to develop 2 short skills programmes for implementation at 4 TVET colleges (2 colleges per programme). ?
