The services to be provided are supervision services for the construction of the reuse facility as well as the services of the Engineer under the FIDIC 2017 Plant and Design-Build (Yellow Book) Contract for the construction of the wastewater treatment plant. Construction contracts for the wastewater treatment plant and the re-use system in the Azraq refugee camp will be tendered separately due to different funding. The construction works for the reuse system will follow GIZ standard construction contract modalities. The construction works for the wastewater treatment plant will follow the 2017 FIDIC Yellow Book (in the version as amended in 2022). To facilitate a coordinated implantation of the works, one service contract is envisaged to cover the supervision respectively the role of the Engineer. It is expected that the construction works for the reuse facility will start before the construction works of the wastewater treatment plant, and that the works for the reuse facility will be completed well before the completion of the works for the wastewater treatment plant. The Consultant shall provide consulting services that include the following main tasks, sub-divided into two work packages: Work Package A: Construction supervision of Azraq camp reuse scheme and site preparation works. Work Package B: Engineer (FIDIC Yellow Book) Azraq refugee camp wastewater treatment plant. - Preliminary activities until the Commencement Date - Contract administration and supervision / Tasks of the Consultant in its capacity as Engineer until and including issuance of Taking-Over Certificate - Tasks of the Consultant in its capacity as Engineer after issuance of Taking-Over Certificate The envisaged duration of the works is 26 months combined. Access to the Azraq refugee camp is restricted and subject to SRAD approval.
