The contractor is required to plan and implement a standard SME Loop cycle for up to 200 SMME. The SME Loop needs to be implemented via local Business Development Service (BDS) providers who are trained in accordance with the SME Loop methodology. The selection, training and coaching of SMEs is then carried out by the local trainers and coaches. The contractor is required to include, as one of the offered experts, an SME Loop Master Coach who will guide the implementation of the SME Loop. A Master Coach in the context of the SME Loop is an experienced (and specially certified) professional who provides advanced coaching, mentoring, and support within the SME Loop framework (mentoring other coaches, quality assurance, customisation of the programme).
