The contracting authority shall procure a system for vehicle administration that shall be used for all of the municipality ́s vehicles, both owned and leased, and shall be independent of the vehicle supplier at all times. The system shall also include tracking devices in all vehicles, an electronic logbook, information on the degree of use of the vehicles, as well as options for car sharing and route planning. The system shall have the possibility to include management of e-cycles, hangers and other equipment. In addition parts of the system shall be able to be used for hired contractors who carry out winter maintenance for Stavanger municipality. The system must be user friendly, intuitive and require minimal training in order to be used efficiently and seamlessly across functions and modules.
