The purpose of this procurement is to meet the Norwegian Armed Forces’ need for task order pricing and execution of material procurement for AEGIS on the Fridtjof Nansen-class frigates, as a result of completed Business Case Analysis (BCA). Negotiated without publication of a contract notice. Locheed Martin Corp. was the supplier to AEGIS during the construction of the Nansen Class and is therefore both the owner of the technical drawings for the system, and the only one with available expertise (Technical Engineers) who can build Norwegian Unique Aegis Parts (NUAP). Lockheed Martin Global Inc. is sole source provider of this specific type through life materiel and support.
