Business and Investment Insights for EIC Strategic Intelligence

The purpose of this contract is to provide business and investment insights, including overall market patterns and trends and monitoring of performance and impact of EIC beneficiaries, for strategic intelligence at the European Innovation Council. The contractor will be required to deliver outputs in the following streams: A) Technology / Sector Overview - Private and public financing broken down by key technologies/ sectors - Venture capital activity by geography including cross-border flows - Startup and spinout activity and trends by technology/sector - Market sizing and growth rates/ trends - Market share and competitive positioning by geographic region to understand EU positioning alongside country profiles within the EU - Incentives or barriers including regulatory impacting technology or sector by geography - IP positioning of EU compared to other geographies B) Company Insights - Performance of EIC beneficiaries monitoring period (Y-2) to (Y+10) subsequent to award of support to include subsequent funding, employment and revenue growth, M&A, high value/ impact contracts etc. - Performance of key competitors to EIC supported companies by sector/ technology C) Ad-hoc Specialist Reports - Deep dives by sector specialists covering market trends and competitive positioning of the EU broken down by supply chain and potential value added, including market sensitive data such as licencing deals, M&A, and others.
