This PIN notice represents a Contract Modification Notice for the Commercial Bus Operator Ticketing and Back Office System Supply, Licence and Maintenance Agreement. Due to functional limitations the Contracting Authority was unable to publish a Modification Notice. As such this Notice should be considered a Modification notice. The contract is for the provision of a standard ticketing solution that is suitable for each Commercial Bus Operator (“CBO”) participating in the Irish Integrated Ticketing Scheme (“ITS”). There will be one standard system which will be implemented in each participating CBO. The supplier is required to provide a system that supports both cash paper tickets and smart card ticketing integrated with ITS. This integration involves enhancing all on-bus ticketing equipment and back office and related data processing systems.
