Confocal Raman microscope for single-molecule and single-cell imaging

EU contract award notice: The purpose of this call for tenders was the procurement of a Raman microscope system for fast Raman imaging of single molecules and single cells on flat substrates with dark-field microscopy, one laser of Gaussian and line shaped beam profiles, circular laser polarization, and objectives with several magnification. The microscope needs to be available for further upgrades, such as lasers ranging from 244 nm to 1064 nm, laser trapping, inverted microscope, live cell incubator and autofocusing during Raman measurements, coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering and stimulated Raman scattering microscopy, hence an upgradable chassis is required. Expected value of the acquisition is below EU threshold value. Later on, the value may be more than 190 000 € (VAT 0 %) including options and other unspecified additional costs of additional features in the future when upgrading of the microscope is needed. The future upgrades (options) do not affect the tender price comparison.
