BIR has set a high digital level of ambition with the aim of strengthening the group ́s ability to provide reliable, user friendly and efficient services to our customers and collaboration partners. We are in the midst of a comprehensive digital transformation, with the ambition to establish a technological and operational platform that forms the basis for the future environmentally friendly and sustainable sanitation systems. Through a thorough process we have set a clear digital level of ambition, based on analysis of our current capabilities and future needs. Six business capabilities have been identified as crucial to achieving our goals: • Sales and customer service - Improve the customer experience by increasing the degree of self-service systems and increased transparency in customer communication. • HR, competence and organisation development - Automate HR related processes and ensure effective management of competence development. • Management and control - Strengthen control of waste management and logistics with a focus on cost efficiency and compliance. • Product and service innovation - Promote the development of new products and services by utilising modern technology and data. • Production - Make operations more efficient through automation and data driven decision support. • Logistics and supply - Implement dynamic route planning and improve warehouse management to optimise the flow of goods. In order to support this development, BIR seeks flexible cooperation partners who can offer specialist competence within the IT platform, operation, information security and digitalisation. The competition is structured in three sub-assignments, where each sub-assignment addresses specific core areas and needs for further digital development. It is important that tenderers can offer broad and in-depth competence within the identified core areas. Call-offs will be made based on specific needs.
