An extension or a new crossing track shall be established, south of the existing crossing track at Lillestrøm north. The measure is on the main railway north, the stretch Lillestrøm – Eidsvoll, and is being carried out as a capacity seeking measure to drive more and longer goods trains. It is planned for 650 m long goods trains. The crossing track shall be constructed for a simultaneous driveway with an effective crossing track length of 820m. Consideration must be made to the existing signal installations, but facilitated for the implementation of ERTMS.
