The Biobanking Department needs to purchase a new pipetting robot. The robot must be able to pipette different types of biomaterial, such as whole blood, plasma, serum, urine, DNA etc. with different types of viscosity. It must be able to scan 1D barcodes on primary tubes and boards, in addition to the 2D barcode being readable for single tubes in 96 format, hereafter called the Matrix tray. The barcodes scanned must be found in files, which together with other data are obtained in the department ́s own LIMS. There must be pre-programmed programs that can easily be adapted to handle different boards, volumes and materials, without requiring programming. In addition there is a need for functionality that can be divided into three main categories: Aliquoting: Sample material must be transferable from primary tubes to different board formats, with the possibility optical reading of the plasma phase and accurate pipetting of this. for some materials there will also be a need for mixing function to ensure that the material that is transferred to new boards is homogeneous. Reformation: Transferring material from a fixed board to a Matrix board. This must be possible for a larger number of boards at a time. The fast boards that shall be pipetted from are sealed with foil and the tenderer must have a transfer system without removing the foil. Hit-picking: Transferring individual positions from board to new boards. Option for a further robot of the same type, the duration of the option expires in 2026. Tenders shall state a total price for all equipment including delivery, other services. This also includes if sub-suppliers are provided.
