DESIGN AND BUILD TENDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS, AND FINISHING WORKS OF THE NEW ICA BUILDING WITHIN THE MCAST CAMPUS, PAOLA AS PER NATIONAL GREEN PUBLIC PROCUREMENT STANDARDS

This tender relates to a design-and-build project for the construction of a new facility at the MCAST Campus in Corradino, intended to house the Institute for the Creative Arts. The development will have an approximate footprint of 2,800 m² and will comprise a multi-level underground car park, together with four floors of training areas, complete with all necessary ancillary facilities. The design-and-build tender shall encompass the following activities: • The comprehensive design of the new building, including the structural elements, mechanical and electrical installations, as well as all internal and external finishes • Execution of detailed excavation works • Construction of the building in accordance with the approved structural and architectural designs • Installation of all mechanical systems • Installation of all electrical and low-voltage systems • Completion of all internal finishes • Completion of all external façade finishes. The estimated value of this tender is in the region of €14 million; however, this figure is indicative and subject to change. The procurement is intended to be issued as a single design-and-build works contract.
