Development of competence package themed digital practice for the staff in the nursery.

We would like to develop a network based competence package that shall be available in the kompetanse.udir.no. A competence package shall be a digital support for all employees in the nursery. The content shall be built up so that it can be used by the personnel group over time and shall aim to develop the digital competence for all of the personnel. At the same time, the content of the competence package must take into account the framework conditions, such as time and personnel competence. The nursery sector has limited time for development work and would like resources that have taken this into account. Another challenge is that the personnel group has a varied background and competence. The competence package shall meet both the employee ́s need with a long track record and the young assistant. Furthermore, we would like the competence package to allow personnel to plan, implement and reflect on the use of digital tools in the educational work. The competence package shall be available in spring 2026. The boarder or general manager should be closely connected to the development work when using the competence package in kindergartens. It is an advantage if the municipality or the private owner is also informed processes such as development work with competence packages. Development work is important to start with the nursery ́s point of view and the need for competence development. The work must be managed, preferably by the boarder, it is therefore important that the package has process and management support. The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training would like to enter into a contract with one main supplier for the entire assignment. If a tenderer needs to have more competence to be able to deliver on the assignment, this must be solved by using sub-suppliers. A comprehensive description of the delivery is given in chapters 4 and 5.
