1 Piece Diamond-based microscope A device for measuring magnetic fields using NV centers in diamond is required. The device should provide an image of the magnetic field distribution generated by the sample (wide-field measurement). This novel method allows the magnetic field distribution to be measured with high sensitivity, high spatial resolution, without cryogenic gases and without time-consuming scanning of the sample, which offers significant advantages over other magnetic field measurement methods (e.g. SQUID, Hall probe). The device will primarily be used to examine microchips. The measured magnetic field distribution can be used to reconstruct current flows in microchips. The main area of application is fault analysis, particularly of complex, multi-layer chips and chip stacks. Additional areas of application include trusted electronics
