Digitalisation system for cultural heritage materials

The subject of procurement is a digitisation system for the Picture Collections of the Finnish Heritage Agency. The procurement contains a complete cultural heritage digitisation system that consists of photographic equipment and a compatible hardware and software package. The digitisation system is particularly suited to large-scale digitisation of flat photographic materials and can also be easily adapted to the digitisation of non-flat objects. See: https://www.digitizationguidelines.gov/guidelines/digitize-technical.html) The digitisation system under procurement consists of a camera, selection of holders, masks, lights, and photographic software, and further includes image quality management software. The system should be particularly suited to the digitisation of cultural heritage materials. All components of the system should be integrated to facilitate a seamless computer-controlled workflow from image quality assessment to remote camera control and image processing of archival images. The specifics of the different components of the system are described in Chapter II.2.4 below and Annex 1. The maximum cap for the total price of the procurement for 2024 is set at EUR 130 000. The price includes all the items specified in the Call for Tenders and its Annex 1, Description of the procurement, the specified products, software, and services for the year 2024.
