DPS system for Runway De-Icing chemicals

Isavia, the national operator of all airports and air navigation services in Iceland intends to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (“DPS”) of qualified suppliers for the supply of runway de-icing chemicals, both solid and liquid. Interested suppliers are invited to send a request to participate in the system. While the DPS is in effect, it is open to all suppliers that meet the conditions for participation in accordance with the terms and conditions of this notice. The total quantity of de-icing chemicals to be purchased under this DPS is unknown. Admittance into the system does not constitute a promise for the purchase of any volume of chemicals. Quantities will vary depending on weather, airport activity and operational procedures.All purchases within the DPS will be made following an invitation to tender for each specific procurement, advertised on the Purchaser’s tender website. The Purchaser expects that contracts will be awarded for a specific period at a time. The length of the procurement period will be stated in each invitation to tender.
