E6 Ranheim-Sveberg

The contract work includes a turnkey contract for the engineering design services for and the construction of a new E6 between Ranheim and Sveberg. The contract includes completion of a four lane motorway from Ranheim to Sveberg dimensioned for 110 km/h. The stretch is approx. 12.5 km long, divided between 10.8 km roads in open air and 1 tunnel of approx. 1.7 km (the Be tunnel). Alterations shall be made to 3 two level crossings and two junctions shall be completed with new ramps. The stretch also includes 30 new constructions, of which 7 have been completed and 2 are partially completed. 16 existing constructions shall be demolished. A complete overview is also in the tender documentation. A new water supply shall also be established for Malvik municipality, with a pipeline system along the route from Be to Sveberg. The pipeline has started and shall be completed as a part of this contract. A new northbound tunnel for the Være tunnel has been completely blasted and secured, while the existing tunnels shall be completely renovated and expanded to the north due to visibility requirements. The contract is based on NS 8407:2011 and it will include an initial interaction phase in which the parties determine the extent of the work and a agreed target price. The designer will be transported to the turnkey contractor when they are signed by Chapter C0.1.
