The Norwegian Public Roads Administration invites tenderers to a competition for the establishment, operation and maintenance of a 24 hour resting place for heavy transport along National Road 3 on the stretch Sundfloen (crossing county road 30) – Alvdal border. The driving distance from National Road 3 to the entrance for the actual 24 hour resting place shall be a maximum of 1 km. The 24 hour resting place shall contain sanitary installations with toilets and showers and it shall have 10-20 parking places. Otherwise, the 24 hour resting place shall meet the minimum requirements listed in point 3.1. The 24 hour resting place shall be ready for opening by 01.07.2026 at the latest and applies for 10 years from the opening hours. The contracting authority has the option to extend the contract for 1+1 year, so that the total possible lease period is 12 years.
