ETCS test equipment for interoperability testing between Trackside and On-board Subsystems

The object of the procurement is the testing equipment for the ETCS subsystems of the Digirail testing laboratory, the related software, and the installation, maintenance, development, support and training services related to the entity. The main objective of the Digirail testing laboratory is to ensure that the systems procured in the Digirail project meet all technical and operational requirements, support the integration and interoperability of the ETCS system, and are ready for the SIT and SAT testing phases. The laboratory is used especially for the testing of interoperability (IOP/ESC) between ETCS trackside equipment and ETCS on-board subsystems, but more broadly also for the verification of requirements and other integration and interoperability testing, covering the entire chain from track equipment to rolling stock. The client states that the selected service provider must be impartial in relation to the companies acting as current or future equipment suppliers in the Digirail project as a whole, and the client's view is that the selected service provider cannot act as such an equipment supplier or be selected as such an equipment supplier.
