Renovasjons- og Gjenvinningsetaten ("REG") intends to enter into agreement with the company Triple S for the continuation of the existing licence agreement as well as maintenance and support services connected to Rockwell Automation software, in REG ́s automation and control systems. REG has an established system environment based on Rockwell Automation software and the existing licence relationship through Triple-S. The procurement is necessary and critical to ensure continued access to valid software licenses, security updates, maintenance, technical assistance, and manufacturer support for the installed system. Triple-S is a certified distributor for Rockwell Automation in Norway and is considered to be the sole supplier with the necessary authorisation, manufacturer access and rights to deliver the relevant licences as well as associated maintenance and support services to REG's existing system. In order to ensure stable operation and secure continuation of the already installed platform, it is deemed imperative with access to the intellectual property rights as well as other technical reasons for continuing the existing supplier relationship.
