Cork County Council proposes to establish and operate a Framework Agreement for Footpaths Cycle Routes Street works Road Reconstruction and Ancillary Works throughout County Cork The geographical area of the Framework is to include all the administrative areas of Cork County Council The proposed works may include any or all of Construction of kerbing footpaths and cycle routes Street works Junction Upgrades Interfacing with utilities Road reconstruction Pedestrian Crossings Concrete works Raising of service covers and ironwork Provision of drainage and ducting Road lining and signage Landscaping Ancillary and accommodation works Also included will be Responsibilities of Project Supervisor Construction Stage Traffic management and control Setting out of works Materials testing The Works Contracts to be tendered under the Framework will vary in nature and may range from simple footpath and kerb construction contracts to cycleway contracts The construction values of projects will be up to 5000000 The Contracts may be located anywhere in County Cork A panel of Contractors will be selected for a duration of 3 years with the option to extend the panel by a further 12 months at the discretion of Cork County Council
