As a part of the Directorate of Education and Training ́s responsibility and regular administration assignments, the Directorate annually develops texts where the Directorate needs language vetting, translation and/or proofreading services. The aim of the notice is to enter into a framework agreement for language vetting, translation services and proofreading in, and between, the most common languages required by the Directorate of Education. The Directorate of Education and Training will mainly require language vetting, translation services and proofreading connected to the languages bokmål, nynorsk and English (UK), as well as other languages that are relevant for the Norwegian Directorate of Education ́s services - see more about this in other chapters. Language vetting, translation services and proofreading connected to the three Sami languages north, south and Lule Sami are exempted from this framework agreement, as they are covered by another framework agreement the Directorate of Education has.
