Kvam wishes to enter into framework agreements for the procurement of technical handrail services. One of the goals of establishing such framework agreements is to ensure efficiency in the procurement processes. The framework agreement shall ensure stability and predictability for Kvam herad and suppliers. This framework agreement comprises the area of HVAC plumbing work. The work includes: Troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance in the existing installations and building masses. Replacement of components. Alteration and upgrade work. Replacement of an older pressure vascular system for a wedge-in-pipe system. The work is for both internal and external plumbing work connected to buildings. If there are not water meters, this shall be assembled and reported to the finance office Kvam herad. Thawing and flushing. Measuring water pressure and any pressure reduction valve assembled as needed. Kvam municipality has a set of smokers that carry out work at our facilities. The framework agreements are intended to cover the main part of the contracting authority ́s continous needs for the services that are dealt with in this competition. Kvam municipality shall have a right, but no obligation to benefit the framework agreements. The contracting authority expects that, in the contract area plumbing work, a minimum of 3 tenderers and a maximum of seven tenderers shall be submitted for the tender contest. If there are less than three tenderers, it will nevertheless consider establishing a framework agreement with 1 or 2 tenderers, where appropriate. The framework agreement has a contract period of two years. The expected start time for the contract is 01.08.2024. The contracting authority has an option to extend the contract on identical terms for up to 1+1 year. The maximum agreement period is 4 years.
