Galway City Council – Pre-Qualification for Construction of the New Lawn Cemetery, Old Dublin Road, Galway. The primary scope of works comprises the development of a new lawn cemetery designed to accommodate grave plots, urn plots, and a memorial garden with dedicated space for cremated remains. The project will also include the construction of internal access roads, junctions, and parking facilities; a staff welfare building; a machinery storage shed; and associated boundary treatments and site signage. Infrastructure works will incorporate surface water drainage systems, headstone foundations, and a purpose-built structure for the internment of cremated remains. Comprehensive landscaping will be carried out across the site to ensure visual integration with the surrounding environment and to minimise the impact on adjacent properties.
