Troms county needs assistance within geo and environmental technical ground surveys, laboratory services and analysis, as well as consulting geotechnics and environmental geology. The framework agreement can be used by all of Troms County as a business, but it is primarily aimed at the Agency for Transport and The Department for Operations and Property. The Agency for Transport operates, maintains, plans and executes projects on approx. 3,000 km county road in Troms. This includes measures connected to roads, bridges, ferry quays, avalanche protection and tunnels. In addition to planned projects, acute events can occur that require geotechnical and environmental engineering assistance. The Operations and Property Department manages and maintains the county ́s buildings, including schools, dental clicks, arts buildings and administration buildings. The work includes both planned measures and acute events, with a need for geotechnical and environmental surveys connected to ground conditions, stability and pollution in construction projects, rehabilitation and safety measures.
