GH2/GOX Burner Supply System for P4.1 Test Bench

The P4.1 test bench must be extended for new test conditions at DLR Lampoldshausen. Therefore, the systems at the test bench must be modified or newly erected. In this context, three GH2/GOX - burners need to be supplied with gaseous oxygen (GOX), gaseous hydrogen (GH2) and gaseous nitrogen (GN2). The scope of services includes the supply lines, 2 panels, passages and the flexible connections to the burner system. The tender includes the following extensions for the GH2 / GOX burner system: GH2 / GOX Burner GOX Supply; GH2 / GOX Burner GH2 Supply; GH2 / GOX Burner GN2 Supply; The GH2 / GOX burner supply system provides GOX, GH2, GN2 to the GH2 / GOX burners of the test bench exhaust system. The system will be connected to the existing P4.1 gaseous supply systems. For the GOX supply a panel is needed to reduce the supply pressure and to install a buffer (10 l) for the GOX. The panel has a drain to outside atmosphere. Afterwards it is routed from the test cell through a flange into the vacuum chamber and to the GH2 / GOX burners at the adapter. The connection to the adapter is with a flexible line. The flexible length is >2 meters to allow adapter movement without disconnection. And there is also a connection to a drain line in the vacuum chamber to remove the GOX out of the system. For the GH2 supply a panel is needed to reduce the supply pressure and to install a buffer (10 l) for the GH2. The panel will be connected to the flare stack. Afterwards it is routed from the test cell through a flange into the vacuum chamber and to the GH2 / GOX burners at the adapter. The connection to the adapter is with a flexible line. This flexible line has a length of >2 meters to allow adapter movement without disconnection. And there is also a connection to a drain line in the vacuum chamber to remove the GH2 out of the system. These GOX and GH2 supply panels are in the test cell on top of the vacuum chamber. The space arrangement is limited due to the existing systems. The GN2 supply will be connected to an existing system, therefore only piping is needed from the connection in the vacuum chamber to the GH2 / GOX burners at the adapter. The connection to the adapter is with a flexible line. This flexible line has a length of >2 meters to allow adapter movement without disconnection. The flexibles shall have quick couplings on the adapter-side.
