Implementation of the partnership principle of the EU cohesion policy in enlargement countries (2024CE160AT082)

This study concerns 9 enlargement countries, being at different stages on their path to EU membership. The overall purpose of this call is to support enlargement countries in implementing the partnership principle under EU cohesion policy. It will complement the Commission’s knowledge of the state of play of the implementation of the partnership principle in these countries, and feed the Commission’s analysis of capacities and needs with regards to the accession negotiation process (under chapter 22), as well as inform potential future technical assistance actions and future legal framework aspects. It will also enhance the knowledge of the enlargement countries on how to apply this principle according to best practices available in Member States.
