Waterways Ireland proposes to engage in a competitive process to establish a framework agreement with a single operator for the provision of insurance brokerage services. This invitation to tender is in relation to the provision of general, non-life, insurance services for Waterways Ireland, to include cover for; employer's liability, public liability, marine craft, building and contents as well as advice and information as required. The responsibilities of the successful framework member will include, but will not be limited to, the following: • The provision of a full brokerage service to Waterways Ireland • The sourcing of underwriters. • The management of the annual renewal process. • The provision of ad-hoc advice. • The provision of a claims' management service. • The provision of risk management advice. • The delivery of various specialised technical services. The broker appointed must be qualified and licensed by the relevant regulatory bodies to conduct insurance brokerage services in both Ireland and Northern Ireland.
