Drammen municipality invites tenderers to a competition for insurance broker services and insurance consultancy services for all types of insurances except pension schemes. A contract shall be signed with one tenderer, and the contract will be valid from 27 May 2025. Tenderers shall analyse risks and suggest suitable insurance systems. Tender: Hold competitions for the contracting authority ́s insurances in accordance with the contracting authority and in accordance with the public procurement law and regulations, and ensure the contracting authority the best terms and prices. Administration of insurance contracts: Tenderers shall assist with administering insurance contracts, including renewals and changes. Claims settlement: The tenderer shall assist the contracting authority in the claims settlement process, from reporting damages to payment from the insurance company. Insurance Consultant Risk Management: The insurance consultant shall assist the contracting authority in identifying and assessing risks and developing strategies to manage these risks. Independent consultancy services: The tenderer shall give independent advice on insurance coverage and help the contracting authority understand complex insurance terms. Furthermore, the tenderer shall give advice and assessments on interpretation of specific questions connected to the insurance contracts and cases of injury. Monitoring the insurance market: Tenderers shall keep themselves updated on changes in the insurance market and inform the contracting authority about new products and possibilities. Both roles are important in ensuring that the contracting authority has sufficient insurance coverage and that the insurance costs are kept at an optimal level.
