Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) currently owns, maintains and operates an Intelligent Transport System (ITS) consisting of roadside equipment and centralised systems including the control centre called the Motorway Operations and Control Centre (MOCC). TII wishes to inform interested parties of a planned procurement competition to procure contractors to a Single/Multi Party Framework for the Works, Supply, and/or Supply and Installation of ITS equipment including but not limited to: • Variable Message Signs (VMS) • Dynamic Warning Signs (DWS) • Periodic Speed Limit Signs (PSLS) • Monitoring detectors (Radar, inductive loops, cameras) • Automatic Number Plate Recognition Systems (ANPR) • Traffic Monitoring Units (TMU) • Cycle Monitoring Units (CMU) • Driver Feedback Signs • CCTV equipment • Over-height Vehicle Detection Systems • Emergency Road-Side Telephones (ERT) • C-ITS On-board units • C-ITS Road-Side Units • Optic Fibre & associated ancillary equipment • TMU loop cutting • Communications equipment (Routers, P2P comms) • Ancillary civil works • Ancillary and supporting systems The deadline for response to this PIN via the e-tender website is 8th of August 2025 by 12noon. Please note the time limit for the receipt of proposals is set on at 23rd of July 2026 12noon but this is only done to keep the portal open for post proposal communication.
