Sarpsborg municipality has since 2022 had an approved area commitment in the Østre district with the goal of improving the living conditions, developing the district and creating lasting, positive changes. The area commitment works on initiatives and projects under three areas of commitment; live, work and experience. The area commitment is an extra effort that shall contribute to the development of new forms of work and methods for task solving, across sectors and management levels. The Inspiria Science Center has developed considerable project competence with focus on physical deliveries and practical implementation of participation activities and inhabitant dialogue. They have developed as a company to be able to deliver both teaching offers and practically good activities for both children and adults. Sarpsborg municipality would like to enter into a contract with the Inspiria Science Center to use Inspiria ́s competence to help Sarpsborg municipality's commitment in østre neighbourhood be a success by implementing different participation measures. Sarpsborg municipality intends to enter into contract 01.08.2024 and will last until 31.12.2025.
