The procurement will be carried out as a direct procurement in accordance with the procurement regulations § 13-4 first section, letter b, no. 2. The equipment subject to procurement must be from Olympus Norway AS in order to function with the existing system from Olympus Norway AS. The competition is therefore "impossible for technical reasons" as this applies to equipment that only Olympus Norway AS can deliver. Delivery of the mentioned equipment from another supplier than Olympus Norway AS will mean that it is not possible to continue the existing system as mentioned above. This will require a complete replacement of the remaining system. Therefore there are no reasonable alternatives and the terms in accordance with § 13-4 first section letter b, no. 2 are fulfilled. The deadline for objections is 10 days from the tender notice.
