Sykehusinnkjøp HF intends, on behalf of Helse Stavanger HF, to enter into a hire agreement with Intuitive Surgical Sarl for the hire of 1 da Vinci X surgical robot. The contract ́s maximum length is 7 years, but the contract can be terminated and the surgical robot will be returned at no cost. The agreement comprises hire/use charges for a complete system (surgical robot with single-console), SimNow simulator, hand-held camera, full service, training of new users and introduction to robot-assisted procedures. The agreement also includes an option for moving the surgical robot to the new hospital and e-learning programme. Equipment dependent consumables (instruments and accessories) shall be purchased separately on the existing framework agreement 601199, which through an amendment contract will be expanded to also include the new surgical robot. The total value of the procurement, including all listed above, is estimated to BE NOK 3.5 million excluding VAT, based on a procedure target agreed between the parties. The new surgical robot is mainly planned to be used for hysterectomies, partial nefrectomies, pyeloplasty, RASP, ventral hernia, inguinal hernia, colon treatment and revision surgery for obesity surgery, but shall be able to be used for all of the following procedures: Gastro surgery: Low front resection for cancer recti, colon treatments for colon cancer, Ventral hernia and diaphragm hernia, revision surgery for obesity surgery, Residiving or bilateral inguinal hernia plastic, liver treatments and pancreatic detections. Gynecology: Endometriecancer with hysterectomy, sentinel node diagnostics, possibly glandeltoetol, hysterectomies for premature and benign changes, Treatment of ovarian cancers in early stages including hysterectomy, omenactomy and glasal toilets, Pelvic floor surgery and clearance of endometriose. Urology: Radical prostatectomy, including glasal toilets, Simple prostatectomy, Radical nefrectomies, kidney detections, Nefrourethectomies with a bloc glasal toilet, Retroperitoneal kidney treatments with the use of 4 arms, renal pelvic plastic, replantations of ureter, including use of Boari patch and reconstruction of ureter with thin arm. Thorax surgery: Thoracoscopy surgery for lung cancer.
