The surgical clinic at Vestfold Hospital intends to enter into a contract with Intuitive Surgical Sarl for the delivery of 1 surgical robot. The agreement comprises 1 robot with a continual contract period, with the entire cost being connected to the number of procedures carried out on the robot. The robot can be returned to the supplier at no cost at any time. If the Hospital in Vestfold carries out the non-binding number of procedures, the value of the contract, including hire, service and training, is estimated to be EUR 3 million, including VAT.
