Intention notice - Swimming training Sandnes municipality

Sandnes municipality (hereafter called the contracting authority) plans to enter into a contract with the local swimming clubs via the Norwegian Swimming Association for swimming training for pupils in the 2nd and 4th years. The contracting authority is planning to enter into a contract without a prior competition as there is only one tenderer (the Norwegian Swimming Association) in the market who can provide the services that fulfil the requirements of the contracting authority, cf. A market survey was carried out prior to this notice for intent (https://www.doffin.no/notices/2025-103931). This would allow for input from other potential suppliers, if it would turn out that there were, however, other suppliers who could provide relevant services in accordance with the contracting authority ́s needs. The contracting authority received no feedback from other suppliers and is therefore planning to proceed with signing the contract. The contract will be valid for 3 years and the estimated value for the contract is NOK 6,000,000 excluding VAT. The waiting period is 10 days from when the intention notice is published. The contract will be signed after the waiting period expires.
