Introduction Leadership Programme for Senior Public Sector Leaders

Institute of Public Administration (IPA) intends to award a contract for a four-day programme for the Senior Public Service leaders, helping to enhance their capacity to inspire the best from their teams and departments. The purpose of the programme will be to support the critical reflection of Public Service leaders in the fulfilment of their current roles and to consider their ongoing Continuous Professional Development. The programme will extend over four days over a four-month period, with day two and day three held consecutively in residence. “Building Future Readiness”, “Leading and Empowering”, “Communicating and Influencing”, “Engaging and Collaborating” are key themes of the programme. Target participants to be drawn from Civil Service Principal Officers, Local Authorities Directors of Services, State Agencies Heads of Divisions and equivalent ranks.
