Invitation to market dialogue: Helicopter Services in Greenland based on framework agreements

Providers of Helicopter Services in Greenland are invited for a dialogue with the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) to investigate if their services and GEUS’ need for helicopter support match. A tender for both Ad Hoc and Full Charter framework agreements (for a 4-year period) is expected to be issued in the autumn of 2025 with agreements to be signed and in force as of January 2026. The dialogue is planned to take place as online meetings during the period from April 28th to May 16th (weeks 18-19-20). To save time, we invite interested helicopter companies to prepare their answers to the questions in the document below and to book a meeting by sending an e-mail to Marianne Vestergaard; mve@geus.dk before April 24th at noon. Meetings will be held in Danish or English, as preferred. About GEUS: The Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) is an advisory research institution under the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Utilities. Further, GEUS is a partner in Geocenter Danmark and associated to EuroGeoSurveys. A large part of GEUS's work, conducted in collaboration with national and international partner organizations including the Greenlandic Mineral Authority, provides knowledge and data to some of today's most challenging issues including clean water, raw materials, energy and climate change. This also applies to Greenland, where GEUS every year carries out fieldwork, making use of helicopters, both as ad hoc services and as full charter operations for prolonged periods of time. GEUS prefers single-engine helicopters and work often takes place in remote, poorly mapped areas.
