Limerick City and County Council - Hand delivery of Enforcement Documents and Investigation Services.
Description du marché
Limerick City and County Council is responsible for the proper planning and sustainable development within its administrative area. Enforcement is an integral part of the planning system and it ensures that there is a process in place and sanctions available for those who do not apply for planning permission for development works where it is required, or who breach the conditions of a permission, where it has been granted. Enforcement provisions are contained in Sections 151 to 164 inclusive of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended). Implementing the enforcement provisions of the Planning Act requires the serving of documents such as Warning Letters and Enforcement Notices. While the majority of these documents are served by registered post, circumstances sometimes require that the documents be served by hand. Both Council staff and an external agent retained by the Council currently serve enforcement documents by hand. In the past 12 months approx. 75 - 100 enforcement documents were served by an external agent on behalf of the Council’s Enforcement section. Limerick City and County Council is now seeking quotes from suitably qualified service providers in relation to the services outlined below in accordance with the Enforcement Provisions of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended). This service will require the delivery of mainly Enforcement Notices throughout the year and may involve several visits to the one property to ensure service of the document in question.
