Mapping the counties' internal control for safety on roads.

The Road Supervisory Authority shall, on behalf of the Ministry of Transport, investigate "a legal basis to demand that [...] the counties shall have and use a [...] management system to ensure traffic safety connected to their roads", equivalent to the road law § 11 b for national roads, cf. Supplementary award letter no. 2 - Requirement for a management system on the way, 13 June 2023. The Road Supervisory Authority needs a good professional basis to be able to assess whether there is a need to introduce such legal basis. As a basis for answering the initial questions in the review instructions, Vegtilsynet wants the consultant to carry out a mapping connected to internal control in the counties. The mapping will be a professional basis for Vegtilsynet ́s further work on the review on lovheimel. The estimated value of the procurement is NOK 100,000,000 excluding VAT. NOK 500,000 excluding VAT.
