Åland is an autonomous and demilitarized area of Finland, situated in the Finnish southwestern archipelago, the Åland islands. Åland has its own government with the right to govern its own internal affairs.The Sunnanvind project (the Project) is initiated and led by the Government of Åland. The mission of the Project is to enable offshore wind power in the northern maritime areas (the Area) of Åland.The Government of Åland is seeking a commercial advisor for the task of preparing, administering, and managing the auctioning process of the seabed lease and concession of the Area (the Process) to actors that are interested to build and operate an offshore wind farm in the Area. The advisor is expected to propose the most suitable Process and with given characteristics of the Project and the Area, advice on creating the greatest Project value possible.This invitation aims to gather comprehensive details about the capabilities, experience, and service offerings of potential providers. Our aim of this market dialogue is to find suppliers operating in this field of business, get information on the best practices used for this task, and inform about our plans and requirements for the forthcoming procurement.Responses to the invitation to market dialogue:Any response is to be in written format. Registrations to the invitation to market dialogue is expected to be submitted until 27.1.2025 12:00 GMT+2 at the latest to the email address: sunnanvind@regeringen.ax.First set off questions to registered actors will be submitted on the 27.1.2025.
