ICT Orkidé is an intermunicipal cooperation body that was established in 1997 and consists of nine municipalities in northern Vestlandet (Aure, Smøla, Sunndal, Surnadal, Rindal, Averøy, Gjemnes, Kristiansund and Tingvoll), with administration in Kristiansund.IKT Orkidé shall be an inset for social development and modernisation in member municipalities, with a great focus on innovation, digitalisation, service development and cooperation. ICT Orkidé invites tenderers to a market dialogue in connection with the procurement of an operations contract and a procurement contract for services for computer rooms. The requested format is digital one-to-one meetings between the contracting authority and the supplier. The objective of the market dialogue is to gain good insight into solutions and the possibilities for relevant suppliers, where we get information on plans for development, and to get/provide answers to any questions, which will be the basis for the further work on the requirement specifications. ICT Orkide and the member municipalities need to ensure stable and secure operation of central servers and infrastructure, both for common computer rooms and local computer room services in each municipality. At the same time, we need to adapt to a "cloud first" strategy, where new systems shall be delivered as SaaS (Software as a Service). The objective of the procurement is to enter into a new operations and framework agreement that: Supports both physical computer space and virtual data room services (Azure). Contributes to a gradual transition from the local computer room to more centralised operation and cloud based services. Facilitates increased competition by reducing the requirements for local presence and response time, without demanding security. Safeguard the member municipalities ́needs for flexibility in the use of the contract for local services, with a long-term goal of terminating local computer rooms. Promote sustainable, cost efficient and future orientated systems that support the municipalities ́ work in modernising their trade systems.
