The Agency for Urban Environment is in the planning phase for the procurement of a new contract for operation and maintenance of the road network. Background for the market survey. The procurement regulations states that the contracting authority shall adapt its procurements in such a way that they contribute to reducing damaging environmental impact and promote climate-friendly solutions when relevant. In order to achieve Oslo municipality ́s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving local air quality, climate and environmental requirements for vehicles and machines used for the execution of contract work in the municipality ́s procurements shall be set. The market survey is aimed at both contractors for road operations contracts as well as suppliers of vehicles and machines for operation and maintenance of the road network. We ask the supplier market to answer the questions in the attached file.
