Market Survey Regarding Sovereign Private Cloud Solutions

The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (Swe: Försvarets materielverk, hereinafter referred to as “FMV”) is a civil government agency under the Ministry of Defence. FMV's main task is to acquire, maintain and decommission materiel and supplies as well as provide services for the Swedish Armed Forces and to support the Swedish Armed Forces' activities in this area. FMV is currently evaluating different approaches to establish sovereign private cloud solutions. FMV is seeking responses from vendors who can provide sovereign private cloud solutions, disconnected from the internet. These solutions should incorporate Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) capabilities to be able to address a wide range of technological needs across organizations. The envisaged solution is a sovereign, disconnected private cloud environment where all data must reside within Swedish borders and be protected from unauthorized disclosure to third parties. FMV is looking for solutions covering the entire spectrum from hyperscale multi-tenant solutions that can be deployed across agencies to single-tenant on-prem solutions
