Modular High Voltage Systems for Beam Diagnostic Detectors

The GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research is currently building one of the largest international research centres under the name FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research). For beam diagnostics purposes, the project requires modular high voltage systems to supply a number of about 400 detectors of various types via about 550 independent channels. Amongst others these are plastic scintillators, ionisation chambers, multi-wire proportional chambers and ionisation profile monitors. Depending on detector type supply voltages of both polarities range from (2 - 6) kV. The high voltages systems will be installed across the FAIR campus and guarantee the required flexibility for various applications. The systems are to be offered according to our specification.
