The EU ETS is a cornerstone of the Green Deal and key part of the Fit for 55 package, the revision of the EU ETS Directive for aviation is important part of this deal. The support service will provide for further support for the implementation of MRV framework for non-CO2 effects, as well as provide for support operating the implementing rules defined by the ETS Directive. The work will consist to provide further expertise towards the establishment of a MRV scheme for monitoring, reporting and verification of aviation non-CO2 effects.
