National road 19 Skoppum road, foot and cycle path.

The project comprises engineering design services for and the construction of approx. 2,600 metres of foot/cycle path along National Road 19. In the west the foot/cycle path starts at the new Skoppum station, and in the east it is connected by the existing foot/cycle path east of the Lørge tunnel. The foot/cycle path shall be constructed with 3.5 m wide (3.0 m asphalt and 0.25 m shoulder on each side) and will be left at varying distances from national road 19 depending on the side terrain. From Skoppum station and eastwards to Adalsbrua, the foot/cycle path will be close to national road 19. The foot/cycle paths shall be highlighted so that the soft road users get a good and traffic secure tenders. Due to challenging ground conditions, the foot/cycle path is regulated away from the existing road bridge over Adalsbekken. The area shall be revegetated and a new edge vegetation shall be established. The stream shall be plastered and erosion protected when excavation is present. It is important that the new stream course ensures water surfaces in pelvis. The project shall be implemented model based in accordance with handbook R110.
